This is our 14th annual Above and Beyond conference.  Each year we bring together teachers, headteachers and local authorities to examine how international experience – school linking, joint collaborative projects and professional development – can transform the learning experience of young people and develop professional skills among educators.

The conference is the centrepiece  of the DCSF International Education Week (www.globalgateway.org/iew) and combines inspiring speakers with hands-on workshops, an exhibition and networking opportunities to provide a comprehensive and stimulating professional development package.  We will be exploring how international opportunities can enrich the curriculum from early years to secondary, providing both a stimulus for learners and an enhanced framework for schools to manage and deliver the curriculum.
