The ZeroCarbonCity campaign was launched in London on 1 March 2005. Our programme will involve activities in over 60 countries.

Activity 1: Pre-reading task

Before you begin reading the text, do an activity that practises verb phrases and another one that practises noun phrases, all of which you will find in the text.

Then decide if it shows evidence for, or a solution to, global warming. Do an activity to see if you are correct.
