Questions from teachers

We have designed LearnEnglish for individual people trying to learn English without a teacher. Some teachers like to use LearnEnglish with their classes - please send us any lesson plans that you develop! - but remember that the site is mainly for independent learners, rather than for groups of learners all doing the same thing at the same time.

We also run a selection of sites designed especially for teachers:

Language Assistant for teachers without much experience

teaching English for more experienced teachers

SearchEnglish for ELT articles, research and networking with language teaching specialists

English Language Teaching Contacts Scheme (ELTeCS) for teaching communities.

We often get asked questions about learning and teaching English. If your question is not answered here, then please contact us.
