“… the twentieth century has transformed the entire planet from a finite world of certainties to an infinite world of questioning and doubt. In such a climate, it is ever more necessary to cultivate human creativity, for individuals, communities and societies can adapt to the new and transform their reality only through creative imagination and initiative. The notion of creativity itself must be more broadly used, not just to refer to a new artistic object or form but to problem-solving in every imaginable field.”
