ZeroCarbonCity Campaign in Latvia
Increasing awareness, reducing emissions

The majority of the world’s scientists agree that the Earth's climate is changing because of manufactured greenhouse gases. The result will be a substantially altered climate. ZeroCarbonCity is a global British Council initiative exploring the energy challenges facing the world.  The aim of the campaign is to stimulate greater public debate around climate change issues.

NorthSouthEastWest – A 360° View of Climate Change
The key element of the ZeroCarbonCity campaign in Latvia is the photo exhibition NorthSouthEastWest – A 360° View of Climate Change. This touring exhibition is part of our work with The Climate Group and involves photography from the Magnum Photographic Agency.
