Increasing awareness, reducing emissions
The majority of the world’s scientists agree that the Earth's climate is changing because of manufactured greenhouse gases. The result will be a substantially altered climate. ZeroCarbonCity is a global British Council initiative exploring the energy challenges facing the world. The aim of the campaign is to stimulate greater public debate around climate change issues.

The specialists of Latvian Museum of Nature have prepared a special educational programme for students as part of the exhibition NorthSouthEastWest. Teachers are welcome to register for group workshops which will take place each Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 1000, 1200 and 1400.
