New Music from UK

Our job is to support the best of British music coming to Latvia and to work in partnership with Latvian musicians to show Britain in all its vitality and diversity.

We are very happy that our music projects have stimulated close collaborative relationships between artists from the UK and Latvia:

The Latvian Radio Choir and Theatre Cryptic from Glasgow have developed two collaborative shows – Black Over Red and Books of Silence
Gavin Bryars and the Latvian Radio Choir have released a CD
Once a year there is a showcase of British club music in Riga
The Movies band has started collaboration with a British producer.

We are looking forward to much more collaborative work and fruitful relationships between music educators, composers and performers.
