Latvian Intercultural Navigators have been selected
British Council announces that the application process for Latvia’s Intercultural Navigators is closed. A team of 23 brilliant Intercultural Navigators has been selected and will take part in the project's further trainings.

TWO PARTICIPANTS REPRESENTED LATVIA IN THE NETWORK EFFECT FORUM IN  PRISHTINA
Two young active professionals from Latvia Andris Ceksters and Liene Jurgelane took part in British Council’s international forum in Prishtina, Kosovo in May 27 - 30, 2009. The topic of the forum was ‘Education in Europe’. The event included challenging programme of debates, real life visits and creative problem-solving activities.
NEW photos: Future city game in Riga, Liepaja, Jelgava and Cesis
On June 17th and 18th the first Future City Game took place in Riga. The aim of the game was to find creative solutions for the empty commercial spaces now seen quite often in the city centre due to the economic downturn. See the photos and video from the games here.
