Destinations around the world

This depends on the language you speak. See the full list of countries below:

We also have opportunities for graduates of any discipline in China for which there is no language requirement.

If you want to be an assistant, but have no language skills, you may be able to apply to be a Comenius Assistant. This programme exists in most European countries, but not outside Europe.

For most countries, you are invited to indicate three area preferences. Flexibility is encouraged, but generally around 90% of assistants are offered a post in one of their three choices.

We do not have a language assistant programme with any other country apart from those listed below.

The information given is correct at this time, but the terms and conditions for the posts in individual countries are subject to change.

Austria
Posts in Austria are open to undergraduates and graduates for either a whole academic year or one semester. Austria is ideal if you speak German and want to experience life in a country rich in culture in close proximity to the mountains. Find out more about our posts in Austria.

There are seven posts in Belgium open to both undergraduates and graduates.  A post in Belgium is ideal if you speak French and want to experience life in a European country other than France. Find out more about the posts available in Belgium.
