Opportunities to host a fully funded CLA

Fully-funded Chinese Language Assistants 2013-2014

Are you planning to introduce Mandarin Chinese teaching to your school or college? If so, you have the chance to host a Chinese Language Assistant (CLA) fully funded. The Chinese Language Assistant will be available to start work from Monday 16th September 2013 until 30th June 2014, to teach 12 hours contact time per week. This year funding is being provided by the Global Education Programme at HSBC and by the Welsh Government to support a number of schools in hosting a Chinese Language Assistant.

HSBC are offering to fund 3 clusters of schools across the UK.
The Welsh Government are offering to fund 5 clusters of schools in Wales.
