We are launching a photo competition for you to showcase the awesome time you had abroad and encourage others to take part!

What’s needed?

   -
   Be creative - show where your assistantship has taken you
   -    A photo over 1MB with a caption of 30 words max
   -    Permissions from the photographer and those in the photo (Individual permission form; School permission form)*
   -    Your name and the country where you were an assistant

How do I enter?

Send your photo to us via wetransfer.com and e-mail the copyright permissions form to assistants.edinburgh@britishcouncil.org

How long have I got?

Deadline for entries in 2012 has now passed.  Winners will be on this website soon.  

* Permissions: If you are planning on submitting photos that include other people you will need to provide us with permission forms from them as well as you. If you include students from your school you will need the signature either of the headteacher to prove that he/she has the permission of your students’ parents or from the parents of the students themselves. We need the permission forms to have original or scanned signatures.
