The LanguageAssistant discussion group is a closed list for British Council language assistants only. All assistants are automatically subscribed to the list.

The purpose of the list is to discuss teaching matters, share teaching experiences, tips, and suggestions for materials.

Jo Budden from British Council Barcelona, and Jo Bertrand, based at the British Council in Paris, post ideas and suggestions two/three times a week and respond to queries and suggestions. Last year, discussions included English accents, using films, and dealing with rowdy classes.
