The British Council is launching its International Young Visual Arts Entrepreneur Award. This award has been established to champion and celebrate the importance of creative entrepreneurs working in emerging markets.
We are looking to identify a person who is working in the visual arts sector who is able to demonstrate business success in the classic terms of business growth (profit, market share, employees) and who has developed a successful (in terms of impact and reach) social or not for profit enterprise in this sector.
Candidates are judged on the evidence of their leadership in the visual arts industry by championing its development in their country but who also has developed initiatives (exhibitions, trade fairs, festivals etc) that grow the market for this sector in their country.
We are looking for your participation in this project if you are Visual Arts entrepreneur and for your co-operation as well by circulating this email and promoting this project amongst potential candidates.
Thank you so much for your time and for your assistance. We hope that you will see this as an opportunity to support the visual arts industry in Saudi Arabia to encourage a new generation of visual arts entrepreneurs and we look forward to working in co-operation with you for our first Visual Arts programme in Saudi Arabia of hopefully many.
