an insect body
Play and learn

What is an insect? An insect has:
* an external skeleton (the skeleton is outside its body)
* six legs (spiders aren't insects - they've got eight legs)
* a body which is divided into three sections - a head, a thorax and an abdomen
Many insects also have wings and antennae.

Do you know what these parts of the body are? Here is a picture of an insect (it's a bee). Can you put the words in the right places?

How to play: There are eight words below the picture. Use your mouse to drag the words into the right places. If you are right the words will stay in their places. If you are not right the words will go below the picture again.
