Our aim is to create partnerships between individuals and institutions in the UK and Israel. Our science programme supports the exchange of ideas, knowledge and the creation of new opportunities, and raising awareness about the impact of science in our lives. In partnership with governmental and non-governmental organisations we organise a wide range of activities designed to promote awareness about the relevance of science to culture
We connect scientists and early-stage researchers in Israel and the UK through networking events and programmes to encourage collaborative research. The networking events provide scientists and researchers with a chance to meet face-to-face to discuss current developments in specific areas of research with a view to establish joint scientific cooperation. To promote bilateral scientific collaboration, funding opportunities are available to support research projects.
More then ever before, science and technology affect our lives and the environments we live in. To raise awareness of the role science plays in our everyday life, we engage the public in discussion and understanding of scientific issues which affect us now but which also will have a tremendous impact on the future of our societies. Through public events, such as cafe scientifiques, lectures, debates, seminars and exhibitions, we provide a space for meetings with UK scientists and for finding out what is new, topical and controversial. Everyone is welcome to join us in these events.
