UK's NEW POINTS BASED VISA SYSTEM FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

From the end of March 2009 international students planning to study to the UK for more than six months (or are already in the UK and want to apply to extend their permission to stay) must pass a points-based assessment and score 40 points before they are able to travel to the United Kingdom.
