A prestigious award to fund your UK postgraduate studies

Have you recently enrolled, or are about to enrol, on a twelve month postgraduate course in the UK? Do you want help with funding your studies? Are you 35 or under and already experienced in your chosen career? Would you like to develop your career and become part of an influential global alumni? Then a British Chevening Scholarship could be right for you.

WHAT IS A CHEVENING SCHOLARSHIP?

Funded by the UK's Foreign and Commonwealth Office and administered by the British Council, the scheme operates in over 150 countries and annually provides funding for over 2,300 students. The aim of the Chevening Scholarship Scheme is to give present and future leaders, decision-makers and particularly able students the opportunity to study in the United Kingdom. The awards are given to cover all or part of the cost of a course of post-graduate study in the UK. The scheme is open to all citizens of Kosovo who already have the academic background and work experience in related fields and wish to follow a post-graduate course in the UK.

If you want to apply, here are a few things you need to know. Please read this article in full before getting in touch, and use the website to see if the information you require is online.

The British Government's priorities in Kosovo are rule of law, good governance, jobs and growth and stability. Applications are particularly welcomed from candidates interested in associated fields of study.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

There are changes to the application procedure this year and only on-line applications will be considered. The system was developed as a response to the need for a more efficiently run scheme, as well as being in line with the Government’s promotion of the migration of as many public facing services into online electronic services as possible. It was piloted in a small number of countries and has been periodically enhanced to reflect the comments and requirements expressed by those Pilot Posts.
