 INTENSIVE ENGLISH TEACHER
    TRAINING PROGRAMME

Trainer of Teacher courses

Under the auspices of the regional Access English programme, the British Council offers a highly specialised course of training for well-experienced and skilled teachers of English. By undertaking the 4-phase programme, there is every intention that these Trainers of Teachers (ToTs) can lead their peers in professional development, providing training to Korean teachers nationwide.

The British Council ToT course promotes the creation of a highly skilled resource in South Korea – English teacher trainers that can operate at the forefront of development in English language teaching. Initially focussed on primary English teaching, the ToT course consists not only of 4 separate phases but also interphase workshops. These workshops are held after each phase has been completed and provide an opportunity for ToTs to showcase their newly acquired confidence and knowledge to audiences of other Korean English teachers.
