In 2008, we launched climate change project in eight East Asian countries including Korea, Japan, Singapore and Thailand and other countries in the world.

We are working to strengthen networks and relationships among decision makers, influencers and future leaders worldwide to tackle climate change.

To achieve this goal we have developed International Climate Champions who will be the future leaders on this issue. These Champions are from East Asian countries and the UK, trained in project management and leadership development which allows the participants to build networks for collaboration and idea sharing as well.

2009 Young Leaders Forum on Climate Change

Young Leaders Forum on Climate Change is a leadership training programme organized in partnership with YCCA, Young Climate Change Ambassador. The forum will provide a series of useful lectures on climate change issues in Korea and around the world. The training also includes a field trip to Korea’s one of most reserved areas as well as a number of discussions. The participants are also required to present final reports by the end of the course.

We hope that these selected young leaders will actively be involved in social actions on climate change. Look forward to other upcoming events, workshops and campaigns involving these young leaders in the near future!

 2009 ‘Let’s Go Green Town’
    – Carbon Zero Campaign with NATE

‘Let’s Go Green Town’ Campaign is an online project in partnership with the British Embassy and SK Communications to protect the earth from climate change effects due to carbon production. This campaign will be carried out until the end of December, 2009.

We have recruited the Green Town Reporter to join the campaign. The Green Town Reporter will go on a journey to London to find out UK’s effort to reduce Carbon and be ‘green’. The news articles will be regularly updated and shared through the Campaign website. You can find out more information at http://greentown.nate.com/.
