What is the SNUE-BC Teaching centre?
Home > English courses > SNUE-BC Teaching centre > What is the SNUE-BC Teaching centre?

We are in partnership with Seoul National University of Education, one of the best universities for Primary Education in Korea.

We are a world authority in English Language Teaching. We have 1,750 teachers worldwide who teach 325,000 students each year. We bring this expertise to our new joint venture with SNUE, thus providing a unique opportunity for us to work with all of Korea’s teachers and learners of English and serve their needs better. This project aims to bring together the high quality and standards of education and learning of both organisations in a mutually beneficial partnership.

Through activities such as a small teaching centre on the SNUE campus, a summer camp and teacher development, we are working towards our shared goal of improving standards of language teaching in Korea. Undergraduates at SNUE will benefit from working with our experienced trainers and both pre-service and in-service training will be carried out through observations of our qualified teachers. In the light of recent policy initiatives by the incoming government, we will be also be working with Korean education authorities.

For detailed information about placement tests and registration for SNUE-British Council young learner courses, please contact us by e-mail.
