Placement interview and registration for new students
Click here to book a placement test
- Placement tests can only be booked on our website.
- Priority is given to candidates who take the test in earlier slots.
- You can register for a course when places are available regardless of the date and time you take the placement test.
- Adult classes are for students over 18 years.
- The British Council reserves the right to ask to see identification for proof of age when placement test candidates come for the test. A national identity card or driver’s license will be accepted as proof of ID. For foreigners, a passport will be required.
- Please note that some courses are booked up early and places may not be available for people who take the placement test on later dates.
- The placement test consists of written test (40 minutes) and speaking test (10 minutes). The whole process takes about 1 hour and half or longer, including waiting time.
- The placement test result is valid for 6 months.
- The test fee is free of charge from 21 May to 17 July. Please come at least 10 minute before your placement test time.
- The online booking works on a first come first served basis.
