Our exciting new Summer Intensives are designed to help your child become a more confident communicator in English.

Teachers will use creative projects and tasks to improve your child’s English skills.

Children will present their project work on the final day of the course & receive a special course certificate.

 Summer Intensives for Children at Gwanghwamun Centre

  • Communication through Creativity1: This 15-hour course uses the popular children‘s storybook The Rainbow Fish to introduce a range of topics and themes. Language-learning forms the hub of the course’s interactive and creative activities and your child’s communicative skills will be developed throughout.

    For students with English at the British Council Level 1

  • Communication through Creativity2: This 20 hour course uses an authentic popular English-language film to introduce a range of topics and themes and develop your child’s vocabulary and speaking skills. The movie forms the hub of the course’s interactive and creative activities that will develop communication skills, team-working and confidence.  

    For students with English at the British Council Level 2

  • Journey to the UK: Have you ever been to London Zoo? Have you seen the Loch Ness Monster? Then here’s your chance! This 20-hour course takes learners on an unforgettable trip to the UK where videos, songs and stories come together to enrich your child’s vocabulary and enhance their speaking and writing ability through drama, role play and presentations.

    For students with English at the British Council Level 3

  • Caring for Our World: The world is an amazing place that is facing some incredible challenges. On this 20-hour course, students will develop their speaking and writing abilities on a range of topics related to the environment. The presentations given, posters produced and debates held will address the environmental problems we face and the actions we can take.

    For students with English at the British Council Level 4
Dates 15 – 26 August 2011
Times 1415-1545 (15hours) – only for level 1
1415-1615/1630-1830 (20hours) – for level 2-4

Course fee: 320,000 Won / 360,000 Won (5% discount is applied for existing students)
