Placement Test Schedule for Term 1, 2010
(3 January – 20 February 2010)

  • Placement tests can only be booked on our website.
  • Priority is given to candidates who take the test in earlier slots.
  • You can register for a course when places are available regardless of the date and time you take the placement test.
  • Adult classes are for students over 18 years.
  • The British Council reserves the right to ask to see identification for proof of age when placement test candidates come for the test. A national identity card or driver’s license will be accepted as proof of ID. For foreigners, a passport will be required.
  • Please note that some courses are booked up early and places may not be available for people who take the placement test on later dates.
  • The placement test consists of a written test (30 minutes) and speaking test (5 - 10 minutes). The whole process takes about 1 hour and half, including waiting time.
  • The placement test result is valid for 4 months.
  • The test fee is 5,000 won. Please come at least 10 minute before your placement test time.
  • The online booking works on a first come first served basis.
