The final build day of Dynamic Designs Challenge was successfully held at the Seismic centre at Pusan National University on Thursday, 23 July. There were 12 teams invited who were shortlisted from the first stage of the competition.
The teams had to deliver a presentation in English to the judges and also make a structural model within 5 hours. The models were then tested on an earthquake simulator, which dramatically revealed the most earthquake resistant model building.
The overall winning team was Archineer from Yonsei university, who demonstrated innovative ideas when creating their model and also delivered a high quality presentation.
The best presentation prize was given to Fortress from Ajou university, and the best model prize was won by Sensation from Hanyang university.
