The British Council has set out below all the terms and conditions which relate to the "Dynamic Designs" competition. These terms and conditions are the competition rules ("rules") by entering the competition you will be deemed to have accepted the terms and conditions and to have agreed to be bound by them.
We reserve the right to alter these terms and conditions/ rules at any time without prior notice.
The competition starts on the 18th of May 2009 and finishes on 23rd of July 2009.
- This competition is open to university students studying on a full time basis at a Korean university. Please see entry requirements for further details on eligibility.
- Rules of each stage of the competition and the judging criteria are detailed within the stage 1 and 2 briefs, and within the specification for model building and shaking table tests. All documents will be provided to team members.
- When you fill in the registration form, you will be providing us with your contact information which we will use for the purpose of running the competition. In addition, we (The British Council and the University of Bristol) would from time to time like to send you communications regarding studying in the UK. You can 'opt out' from receiving this marketing information by using the "opt out facility" in our communications.
- There is no alternative to the prizes on offer.
- You should also be aware that the prize which is offered cannot be transferred to anyone else, and that it cannot be exchanged by you for anything else.
- As a participant you should be aware that we will want to make use of anything you create as part of the competition in our own future marketing activity, and we will publish on our website anything which we consider appropriate. By entering this competition you are giving us your consent to do this.
- Photos and filming of the competition may also be used in any future marketing activity. When you participate, you will be giving us your consent to do this.
- The judges’ decision is final for both the stage 1 and stage 2 of the competition.
- In no event will the British Council be liable for any loss, damage, injury or disappointment suffered by any participant entering the competition, including without limitation, consequential loss or damage, or any loss or damages whatsoever arising from participation in the competition.
