We are Armada Ewha, comprised of just 6-women members specializing in Architectural engineering which would be rarely seen. We have formed a friendly relationship with each other having lots of fun together and sharing similar thoughts in this field. Therefore we can understand each other in anything than any other persons, and it motivates us to hold together. In addition, each interest is various, such as Structural analysis, Construction management and Environmental Energy architecture. This means it will multiply our ability of designing solid structure by much more 6 times! This is the reason why we will win on this dynamic challenge. Why you think your team will win:
Since this contest is a team competition, I have no doubt that my team will win this contest. Not only because my team has studied profoundly about quakeproof building structure, but also because my team has such a nice teamwork.
To begin with, my team works effectively. Each one of my team has a different specialty to work on, so that every member can focus on one part that individual is good at. Therefore, objectively, our work will be balanced and strong in every side.
Moreover, my team has a good relationship. All members always respect one another and other’s opinions. Also, we like to discuss as many times as possible about our every decision and detail about our work.
Thus, it is reluctant to say that my team will stay behind. Since my team has the best strength, teamwork, among others, my team will win the victory.

We are sure that our team name will bring us a victory. In Greek mythology, Prometheus stole fire from Zeus and gave it to mortals. Zeus then punished him for his crime by having him bound to a rock while a great eagle ate his liver. On the basis of his spirit, we will complete a hospital earthquake-resistant design.

Why you think your team will win:
Our team name, “Jang I”, is a Korean word which means “craftsmanship”. We’ve studied structure engineering and architecture design for several years with unexceptionable professors and performed several team projects together. Some members in our team already got some professional experience and knowledge through Internship course in Korea, and other one member got a second prize at design contest in Korea. Because this is the first dynamic design contest in Korea and the final performance will be held at KOCED on our university’s 2nd campus in Yang-san, we really encouraged and will try our best to be the first on this performance. Moreover, our team members trust each other and we can cooperate perfectly among seniors and juniors, because we’ve studied together much time in several projects.

Why you think your team will win:
Our team is constituted of 6 members, all studying architecture related major. This may seem like a redundant number of architectural engineering students, but each of us are assigned a distinctive role designed according to each of the member’s specialties. This will allow us to work out the problems imposed by our client, “Mr. Ivor Dunwell” with efficiency.
In addition, our team is formed not by a gathering of random students for this competition, but by classmates with tight relationships that have been brewed over years. By this, we will be performing unprecedented team work. It has been proven over centuries that team work brings about the best results, and the impact of such teamwork is no exception for this “Dynamic Design” competition as well.

Why you think your team will win:
We have enough capacity to grab the award because we are the strongest team ever in Korea. Our team is composed of various members who have their own excellent talents and passion in construction. Additionally, we have as much a bond as siblings, which will absolutely build great teamwork in doing this project. So, we will be able to complete the project perfectly with each member's skills and experiences in harmony. The reason why we named team ‘PIONEERS’ is we want to reach the peak goal which has never been conquered. The three of us specialize in civil engineering, who will build the structure in this project. The two of us are studying for architecture, who will take charge of drawing plans. The other member, an architectural engineer, will play an important role of connecting between art and engineering. We are prepared to join this 2009 Dynamic design challenge and will do our best in the competition.
