WANT SOMETHING TO DO NOW?

Here are some experiments you can do with plants. You can ask an adult to help you. Have fun!

Experiment 1

Take three pots and put some soil in the pots.
Put some fast-growing seeds in each pot, for example, cress or radishes.
Now put the pots in places that have different light, for example, put one in a room with lots of sunlight, one in a room that has a little light, and one in a cupboard.
Look at the pots every day. What happens to the seeds?
Write a report about the experiment.

Experiment 2

Fill a jar with some water.
Add some food colouring.
Put a stick of celery or a stem with a white flower in the water.
What happens to the celery stick or the flower petals?
Write a report about the experiment.
