WANT SOMETHING TO DO NOW?

In this story the boy's dad is a scientist, his mum is a dog groomer, and his sister is an animal trainer. They all work with animals. What do the people in your family do? Try one of these activities:

1. Write down the jobs that people in your family do (write in English). Look up the words in a dictionary if you don't what they are in English. Can you add more jobs to the list?

2. Interview a member of your family about their job. Here are some questions you can ask - or you can think of others:

where do you work?
what time do you start and finish work?
what do you wear when you are at work?
who do you work with?
what do you like best about your job?
what do you like least about your job?
did you have to train to do your job?
is your job what you wanted to do when you were little?

Can you do the interview in English? If not, do the interview in your own language and then write it in English.
