PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT TRAINING
Unleashing your potential

Is this you?

You want to be efficient and effective at work but while you know what you should be doing, you just don't do it
You want to improve your work skills but the courses you have been on before have been dull and uninspiring
You want to learn practical tips you can use straightaway but many courses you've attended before are just full of theory.

If any of this sounds like you, then you need our Professional Development Training.

Each Professional Development Training course includes:

Pre-course research. This involves finding out the answers to some core questions before the course starts. This means that you are fully prepared before you attend the course so that in the course you are able to focus on how you will apply your new knowledge.
“Guide on the side” trainer approach. Many courses suffer from the “sage on the stage” approach where a trainer simply lecturers and handles questions. We put the focus clearly on you. This means that you are given problems to solve, tasks to complete and assumptions to challenge so that you are able to bring your learning back to the workplace.
Post-course tasks. These are a series of activities to be completed one week, one month and three months after the course. This means that you are able to try out your new learning in a guided manner when you are back in the office, ensuring that nothing is forgotten.

How are these courses different?
We believe that management problems can best be solved by changing management behaviour. Our courses create better management through the following:

In-depth exposure to the latest management thinking in the UK through British Council affiliated websites such as Ashridge, Athens, Emerald and Infotrac
Development of essential skills to create your own solutions to management problems guided by British Council trainers through hands-on practical work-based exercises
Use our post course activities to demonstrate how your behaviour has changed through a series of after course tasks.

How much do the courses cost?
For Public courses:
Kshs 10,000 per person for a 1 day course.
