Our aimes are to improve the classroom performance of teachers of English, especially those teaching in remote areas and to increase teachers' access to a variety of developmental methods and ELT materials through rural resource centres.
We work in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Science, Republican In-Service Teacher Training Institute and National Association of Teachers of English of Kazakhstan (NATEK)
We have selected 20 trainers from Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan out of 85 candidates who applied to participate in the project.
ETTE trainers received British Council trainings in :
- English language methodology
- Materials design and adaptation
- Mentoring
This training experience helped ETTE trainers develop training materials and start delivering sessions for teachers of English in their regions.
If you are a teacher of English and would like to improve your classroom English or get an opportunity for professional development, then why not take part in trainings delivered by our ETTE trainers. Find out when and how you can attend a training by contacting your regional teacher development institutions.
You can also learn about the ETTE developments in the Central and South Asia region by logging in here as a guest, using the guest enrolment key 'csa'.
