Discussion group
Join our discussion group and meet your colleagues all over Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan

Would you like to meet other ELT professionals and share your experience? Do you have an ELT question you would like answered? Why not to do it online? Visit our discussion group page and join the forums.

Our discussion group is hosted on the British Council site, Search English. The site is easy to navigate.

When you reach the main page you will see an orange navigation bar across the top of the page, under the title. Discussion groups is one of the options you can click on. If you click on the button you will reach the discussion groups page where you will see a link to the ELT in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan discussion group. At this stage you will only be able to view the groups.

If you want to join in a discussion or post a new topic, you have to log in first. To do this click on Login at the left end of the orange navigation bar. When you reach the login page you will have to first register your name and chose a password. You will see this sentence on the page:

Click here to sign up for membership

Follow the link and complete the registration form. Don’t forget your Login name and password! When you have completed the form, click on Sign up. You will be taken to a page where you can set your search profile, but you do not need to complete this page immediately. You can do it another time. You are now ready to join the discussion group.

To start participating in the discussion group, simply go to the navigation bar and click on Discussion groups again. Click on the link to ELT in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan and you can start posting new topics or replying to topics posted by other members.

If you need help there are two Help buttons on the page, one on the right, below the navigation bar and one at the right-hand end of the navigation bar. Both buttons take you to the same page where you will see a list of questions. In the list, you will see some questions about discussion groups and forums. Click on the question you want to answer.
