Where can I live when studying English in the UK?
Most English language centres will arrange accommodation for you. Homestay is a popular option – enjoy living with a family and experiencing a way of life different from your own. If you like your independence and want to live with other students you may prefer halls of residence. The UK also offers a wide range of hotels and hostels at all levels of comfort to suit your pocket.
How can I find a centre where the quality of English language training is guaranteed?
You should look for English language centers accredited by the British Council. All accredited centres are part of English UK association and can be researched here.
How do I choose an English language centre?
Make sure that the centre offers the type of course and accommodation you prefer and that they suit your budget. Check if the course is intensive enough, intended for your age and suits your class size preferences. Course location (city/town) and region (England, Wales, Northern Ireland or Scotland) might be important too, as well as nationality mix and number of Russian or Kazakh speakers at the centre.
