COOPERATE WITH US ON OUR MONTH IN MUSEUMS PROJECTIt’s your chance to develop your professional skills and boost your resume with the British Council this summer-autumn!

The Aims of the project are to:

  • Support the development of the English language in Kazakhstan
  • Improve and apply students' knowledge obtained in the classroom and develop their English language skills
  • Attract English speaking tourists to visit local museums and acquaint visitors with the culture and history of Kazakhstan
  • Connect British students studying Russian with Kazakhstani students studying English

What will you need to do:

1)Translate a sample text, fill out an application form and send these  to us by 7th June 2010

2)Get selected for participation in the project  -  by middle of June

3)Translate Museum materials into English in the summer/autumn

4)Submit translations to the British Council

5)Receive well-deserved AWARDS – Certificate, Reference, Gifts and enriched experience

So, don’t miss a good opportunity!

If you are staying in Almaty this summer, we will assign you to one of the museums here, in Almaty.

If you are going elsewhere in Kazakhstan, we have partner museums in Taraz, Pavlodar, Astana, Karaganda, Semei, Turkestan, Petropavlovsk, Atyrau, Aktobe, Zheskazgan, Aktau, Aksu, Ust-Kamenogorsk  or, we can arrange any other museum in your town/city!
