A Target Task Force is a sub-Committee of the Technical Working Group comprising representatives from each sector institution involved in addressing a specific target.

Target Task Force 1 (Reduced Crime and Fear of Crime), for instance, comprises of representatives from the police, prisons and judiciary.  These Target Task Forces will continue to collaborate in implementing the activities proposed in this strategy and report to the full Technical Working Group. Where appropriate, members of civil society organisations will be co-opted onto Target Task Forces to partner with Government in implementing aspects of the Strategy.
