The University has over 4,300 international students from around 120 countries and offers over 600 courses in a wide range of subjects supported by state-of-the-art facilities and learning resources. Over the last 10 years Sheffield Hallam has invested Ј100 million in teaching and learning facilities. Sheffield Hallam is ranked in the top group of modern universities in the UK and has earned an excellent reputation for teaching quality and applied research.

The offer is for a scholarship for postgraduate courses in Media, Communication and Journalism for the September 2012 intake.

The terms and conditions of the joint Sheffield Hallam/Chevening scholarship are absolutely identical with those for the core British Chevening Scholarships. The priority subjects, the selection criteria and the selection process are the same. The only thing you should do if applying for the joint Sheffield Hallam/Chevening scholarship is to mark Sheffield Hallam University and the preferred course as your first choice in the application form
