As from September 2008, the British Council and CGRI-DRI/FNRS will jointly run and finance the Partnership Programme in Science, United Kingdom (UK) & Communauté Française de Belgique Wallonie Bruxelles (CFB-WB). The aim of this Partnership Programme in Science (PPS) is to enable early-stage and talented postdoctoral researchers from higher education institutions in the two countries to meet, exchange ideas and engage in scientific and academic research collaboration.
The next deadline for applications is 21 March 2009.
This competitive programme provides a grant-in-aid towards the cost of international travel and accommodation for collaborative research visits and workshops/seminars.

Assessment will be undertaken by a Selection Board comprising representatives of the British Council, CGRI-DRI and the FNRS on 24 October 2008. During the last round of the Partnership Programme in Science UK & Netherlands, 15 applicants were awarded a grant-in-aid for either a research visit or workshop seminar.

Deadline for applications was 22 September 2008 for visits or workshops/seminars to take place between 13 October 2008 and 31 March 2009.
The next deadline for applications is 21 March 2009 for visits to take place between 1 May 2009 and 31 March 2010.
