Millions of children throughout the world are learning English. Starting young gives them a head start with language skills that they will need throughout their education, in their working lives and many leisure activities.

The Young Learners English Tests from Cambridge ESOL are an excellent and fun way of motivating children to learn English. They help children to build confidence as they make progress, providing a gentle introduction to public exams.

Designed for children between the ages of 7 and 12, Young Learners English Tests are available at three levels (Starters, Movers and Flyers).

YLE starters

If your child is between 7 and 9 years of age and already had some English lessons then the Starters test is the right way to embark in the learning of English!

YLE movers

The Movers test is for children between 9 and 10 years of age who are already having English classes in primary or private language school.

YLE FLYERS

If your child is between 10 and 12 years of age, loves English and wants to learn even more, then the Flyers test will boost up her or his motivation for the future learning.
