Do I have to register for the exam in person?
|
|
|
Another person may bring your application form with a copy of your ID or passport and pay the fee. However, you, the candidate, must sign the application form so it is preferable that you also fill in the details on the form yourself.
|

What happens if I can not attend the exam?
|
|
|
You will be counted as absent, i.e. this test will not be counted as a test taken. Please note that you will not receive a refund unless you have given five weeks notice in person. If you notify us of your cancellation at least five weeks prior to the exam date, we will be able to give you a full refund less administration charges.

What should I do if I want to postpone?

What time should I arrive on the day of the exam?
|
|
|
You must arrive by 0830. If you arrive later, you risk not being admitted into the examining room.
|

What should I bring with me?
|
|
|
Please bring the ID card or passport that you used while registering for the test, and pen, pencil and eraser. You may also wish to bring a small bottle of water.
|
|

What time does the exam finish?
|
|
|
The exam is normally carried out over two days. The first day you do the Listening, Reading and Writing modules which take about 3 hours and a half. The Speaking module, which lasts about an hour and a half including the waiting time, takes place on the following working day.

When will I get my results?
|
|
|
Results are available two weeks after the test date.
|

When and where can I receive my results?
|
|
|
You may pick up your results from the reception, anytime between 0800 and 1900.
|

Can I have another copy of my results?
|
|
|
Due to the University of Cambridge regulations, candidates receive one original copy of their Test Report Form. You can request up to five free originals to be sent directly to the receiving educational institutions. We charge USD 30.00 or LBP 47500.00 DHL postal costs per Test Report Form sent any where in the world.

Can I send someone to collect my test results?
|
|
|
Another person may collect your results as long as they have your ID card or passport and an authorisation letter written by you.

Can I know my results over the phone, fax or email?
|
|
|
Results are never given out over the phone, fax or email.
|
|
|

Can I have my papers remarked locally?
|
|
|
If there is a big difference between the 4 test results, your papers are re-checked automatically. However local re-marking is not available on request.
|

|
Can I have my papers re-marked?
|
|
|
You can request to have all or individual papers re-marked in the UK. This service costs GBP 60.00 and takes a minimum of 2 months.
