Education is the focus of our re-engagement with Iraq, working in partnership with Iraqi institutions and individuals to reconnect Iraq with the international educational community and sharing the UK’s experience to help design Iraqi solutions to Iraq’s challenges.

Cambridge University, in partnership with British Council Iraq, invites applications from Iraqi academics who wish to take part in the Cambridge Colleges Hospitality Scheme. The programme offers a one-month (30 day) visit in one of the Cambridge colleges during the month of September 2008 and an opportunity for scholars to use Cambridge University’s libraries and facilities and to contact academic specialists in their subjects.
