In partnership with the Publishers Association and UK Trade and Investment, we brought an Iraqi delegation to the 2004 London Book Fair. Afterwards, a group of UK publishers offered Iraq free access to their vast online journal collections for 2004. Read more.
In partnership with Iraqi universities, we are opening Resource Centres, giving teachers and students internet access to thousands of online international journals and English language teaching and learning materials. Read more.
Working with partners across the UK to co-ordinate the donation and transport of books and journals to Iraq, we delivered 55 tonnes of materials to 10 universities. Find out more.
