BRITISH COUNCIL GHANA has launched a new International Award which seeks to celebrate the achievements and develop the potential of young creative entrepreneurs in emerging markets across the world.
Thousands of young ambitious entrepreneurs in the field of communications will compete for the International Young Communications Entrepreneur (IYCE) (The Agency) Award for an opportunity to join other international finalists from 9 other countries from across the globe, in the UK for a 10-12 day tour with an overall aim of enhancing their understanding of the Communications market.
The winner of the international event takes home in addition to the award title, a special commission bowl by acclaimed glass designer Gilles Jones as well as the ultimate prize of £7500 to be used for a local project in their country of origin

| The winner of this award, apart from being in any of the sectors listed should fall within the definition for creative entrepreneurs below: |

 |
Somebody working in the creative sector who is able to demonstrate business success in the classic terms of business growth (profit, market share, employees) and/or in terms of their reputation (quality and aesthetic) amongst their peers. |

 |
 |
Somebody working in the creative sector who has developed a successful (in terms of impact and reach) social or not for profit enterprise in this sector. |
 |
 |
 |
Somebody working in the creative sector who has shown leadership in the industry by championing its development in their country. |
Somebody working in the creative sector who has developed initiatives (exhibitions, trade fairs, festivals etc) that develop and grow the market for this sector in their country

Be aged between 25 and 35 |

Already work in the creative sector (as outlined in each of the sectoral definitions below) with at least 3 years experience in their sector |
