This special climate Cubed change shows how scientists have moved from diagnosing the problem to seeking out solutions.  The climate change simulation being conducted at Imperial College London is examining the impact on different species and how this will affect ecosystems. Engineers at the University of Swansea have developed a smart meter which gives detailed and immediate data on energy consumption in the home.

Finally, a new cloud radar will give meteorologists and climate scientists better information on changing weather patterns. This second wave of climate change science has scientists exploring technologies which will enable us to adapt positively to changes in climate
