WHAT IS THE SSC?

SSC is the Study Support Centre which will support your studies, career development and English language learning. As a member, you can borrow English language books; use our available learning materials, resources and guides on the computer.

WHY ARE WE CHANGING TO THE STUDY SUPPORT CENTRE?

Following our research we have changed the focus of our collection. Our resources will now be more modern, sophisticated and high-tech. They will reflect the latest developments in language learning and exam preparation.

WHO IS IT FOR?

The Study Support Centre (SSC) is for General English students and exam candidates (IELTS and ESOL).

Exam candidates will be offered a one month free membership upon registration. If the candidate wishes to extend their membership then they have to apply for the paid membership.

By joining our Study Support Centre, you will be able to take home up to two books at a time for a period of two weeks. You can then renew for a further two weeks.

MATERIALS AND RESOURCES

We have plenty of new resources for:

  • Exams: IELTS, FCE, CAE, PET, KET and IT-based resources; book-based resources and practice tests.
  • General English: vocabulary enrichment, graded readers, grammar, pronunciation, IT and video resources from Starter to Advanced levels.
  • A core selection of IELTS exam materials in Braille is available.
