The candidate is eligible for the full refund:
- As a result of a mistake in registration by the exams’ section.
- In regard to GCE/IGCSE if the student is transferring from one board to the other prior to our initial closing date. This has to be taken subject for subject.
- If it was the board’s mistake we have to agree with the board not to charge us.
- Candidates who have given written notice to the BC of their intention to withdraw from the examination by the last date for regular entry may expect to receive a full refund of the subject fees. An admin fee charge of 25% per subject/Module will not be refunded.
- Candidates who have given written notice to the British Council of their intention to withdraw from an examination from the first day of the start date of late registration may not expect to receive a refund. On medical grounds refund may be issued upon the Board’s discretion.
- Please note that all refund will be issued after the end of the examinations period.
- You may Transfer to another available test date or cancel your test if you inform us at least five weeks before the test date. An amount of JOD 25/- will be deducted from the refunded amount.
- If you are absent on any part of the test without a prior notice, you may not expect to receive a refund. Speaking test can be rescheduled for an additional fee of JOD 25/-
- Remarking fee (Enquiry on Results): full refund if the mark improves and no refund if the mark remains the same
- We do not refund or return any publication material
- No refunds will be allowed for IELTS within 5 weeks of the test date. Following are the exceptions from that in which JOD 25/- will be deducted from the refunded amount as an administrative fees. Exemptions are:

If a notice of cancellation is given to the British Council at least one week before the test day, candidate is eligible to a full refund. An admin fee of JOD 25/- (£20/-) per candidate/exam will be deducted from your refund. Exams fee is forfeited if less than one week notice is given.
