Quality Assurance of English language providers

We run the English in Britain Accreditation Scheme (EiBA) the only internationally recognised accreditation scheme for private schools in the UK in partnership with EnglishUK. English UK is made up of ARELS (Association of Recognised English Language Services) and BASELT (British Association of State English Language Teaching).

Accredited centres are inspected by us regularly to make sure they meet a set of quality standards. Courses at further education colleges and universities are checked by government inspectors as part of a routine inspection.

Where can I study?

There are a vast range of institutions where you can study English in the UK. The Education UK website www.educationuk.org allows you to search for the type of course you are interested in and where these courses are. You can take advantage of our counselling services where we assist you with the application process and booking of accommodation.

Your next steps

Select the courses or schools/colleges that interest you
Send the application form to the school or college
Wait for the letter of acceptance, usually arrives within two weeks
Pay the deposit and make sure you get a receipt
The acceptance letter can be used to support your visa application
