British Council Jordan
Frequently Asked Questions
  • What kind of teachers will I have in the British Council?

All of our teachers have native-speaker level English, a Cambridge CELTA teaching certificate, and at least two years full time teaching experience. Most of our teachers have much more.

  • Are all the teachers British?

No, they aren't. We believe that nationality is not important if the teacher is qualified and has the same language level in English as a native speaker.

  • How many students are in each class?

We have a maximum of 20 students in each class.

  • What are the lessons like?

Our courses are designed to help you improve your grammar and the four skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking.  Your teacher will plan each lesson carefully and there will be a mix of individual, pair and group work.  You should expect to communicate with the teacher and your fellow students in English from the beginning!
