Marketing Planning Manager - Jordan
Closing Date : 18 January 2013

We are looking for an experienced Marketing Planning Manager. The post holder will be responsible for:

  • Leading, developing and producing Market Research, Competitive Intelligence and Marketing Insights for the various products and services.  
  • Acting as the lead market planner on Market Planning projects; providing business unit teams and senior management and other internal partners/stakeholders with unbiased, objective, cumulative and in-depth information regarding current and future markets, product performance, customers and competitors.
  • Developing and implementing a Directorate -wide go-to-market plan and support business units of the Jordan office for developing marketing action plans, working with all departments to execute

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Substantial experience of providing and using market intelligence to support strategic decision making in a large and mixed economy organisation;
  • Has previously managed marketing research projects - preferably in a service or education environment;
  • Experience of market scoping and experience of Jordan  B2B market and direct to customer markets;
  • Evidence of ability to promote role of department and work well with other units I.e. work in cross unit teams and lead projects where there is no formal line management of staff involved;
  • Evidence of strong analytical, interpretation, influencing and communication skills;
  • Good communication skills in English, including fluency in speaking and writing
