About this courses

At the end of the course you will be able to:

  • practised the skills and techniques necessary to maximise scores in all parts of the exam
  • focused on each area of the of the exam in detail, looking at exactly what the examiners expect
  • developed vocabulary, grammar and skills for all parts of the exam


Course Outline

On CPE courses 1-3 you will:

  • be introduced to the main elements of the exam and develop skills for all 5 papers
  • practise a variety of speaking skills on a range of topics related to the exam
  • have extensive practice in listening to a wide range of texts in different situations
  • have extensive practice in listening and answering a variety of types of questions
  • learn how to write well-structured and appropriate articles, essays, letters and proposals
  • practise reading a wide variety of texts from different genres
  • develop your vocabulary on a wide range of topics
  • develop your grammar and accuracy and make it more sophisticated
  • have exam practice for homework

On CPE4 you will:

  • practise exam papers and receive full feedback on your performance
  • practise taking part in the speaking interview
  • continue to develop your language and skills
