British Council promotes innovative and diverse aspects of UK arts including visual arts, architecture, design, dance, drama, music, film and literaturer, and provides opportunities for people in Japan and the UK to share creativity and inspire each other.

We deliver a wide range of projects to present a diverse picture of UK creativity, liaising with the Arts group of the British Council in UK as well as partners both in Japan and the UK, which include museums, galleries, theatres, promoters, film distributors, publishers, architects, designers, and festival organisers.

We are also very keen to introduce the best practices and strategies of UK creative economy to people in Japan and facilitate the building of collaborative networks between arts organisations, policy makers and artists.
