Earthquakes off the Pacific Coast of Tohoku

We would like to express our sincere condolences to the victims of the earthquake and tsunami that occurred on 11 March 2011.

In light of current circumstances we have made changes to some of our activities as below. We ask for your understanding and apologise for any inconvenience caused.



English courses
- We will be open at the Iidabashi centre as usual from Saturday 26th March for registration and level checking as well as make-up lessons.
- For students who had make-up lessons this week, we will contact you form Tuesday March 22nd.
- The new starting date for the Spring Term in Tokyo centre (Iidabashi) and all satellites (Marunouchi, Mejiro and Yokohama) is Tuesday April 5th.
- We canncelled open days and level checks at the satellite offices on the following dates;

  • Marunouchi satellite: Wednesday March 23rd.
  • Mejiro satellite: Thursday March 24th.
  • Yokohama satellite: Saturday March 26th and Thursday March 31st.

IELTS
The Tokyo IELTS Session on March 19th 2011 has been canceled due to the earthquake. Candidates from this session will be contacted by the STEP office in order to either defer their test to a later date, or claim a full refund.

The IELTS sessions on April 2nd 2011 at Tokyo, Yokohama and Osaka will be held as originally scheduled.

The IELTS sessions on 16 April at Tokyo, Nagoya, Kyoto, Hiroshima and Fukuoka will be held as originally scheduled.
