"When I was told that we would meet a rapper-poet on a Friday, my first thought was “What a drag…”, but as I had agreed to it, I went along. And I had to eat my words: Levi Tafari reminded me just how good rap can be and thanks to his workshop, I even brushed up on some of my rusty English. But above all, I really enjoyed myself, even though when we had to read our own raps out loud in front of 3 other classes, I did feel a little nervous. The British artist worked in the morning with a group of students and in the afternoon he gave a performance in front of a large group of students from the 2 comprehensive schools. During the day, the Young Leader Diego Pedroli, back from a European seminar held in Amsterdam, was able to tell us about his experience of mixing with peers from other countries while he was there
